Sign-In Problem?

We began experiencing difficulties when members would select usernames filled with symbols such as "$ @ ~ & * #" etc. Many symbols have been disallowed which means you may need to choose a new username by Registering as a new Member. Our apologies.

A Lot of Upgrades

Spades Online has seen the game room become full for several hours. Thanks to those players like "metoo" for emailing me about this event and requesting I add more rooms. And thanks to all of you who enjoy playing spades at www.ilovespades.com. We have added a second room(Room 2) for players with high rank. Room 2 players enjoy all Hosted tables, Misdeal, Kick and Be Right Back. The biggest advantage is being in a room with players who know what they're doing.

Rank has become a regular feature of all most of our games. Rank cheat protection has also become a regular guard against those who play for rank and rank only. Late quitters who try to avoid rank penalties are now captured. Most rank cheats prefer to play bots and work their rank increases there. This site is designed as a multiplayer environment and therefore these cheaters necessitate strict limits and penalties, that will only get stiffer without notice.

The "Be Right Back" feature helps those playing long games take a needed break to check the kids, go to the restroom or answer the phone without losing their seat. The breaks last up to 5 minutes where bots play for you and even bid your hand. But if you know the bots like we do, try to limit how long they play for you.

Our games also include Misdeal and Kick. These features help keep the game going with the annoying interuptions by those less interested in play and more interested in disruption. We ask that table host who have the sole authority to use these features do so sparingly, fairly and after consulting human players seated at the same table.

Regular members are well aware that a lot of changes have been made to our spades game in the month of June. Most of these changes were in response to member suggestions.
